About the Journal
International Journal of Mechanical Engineering Technologies and Applications (MECHTA) is an international journal established by Mechanical Engineering Department, Engineering Faculty, Brawijaya University, Malang, East Java, Indonesia. It has 1 volume with 2 issues per year. MECHTA is an open-access double-blind peer-reviewed journal that mediates the dissemination of academicians, researchers, and practitioners in mechanical engineering. MECHTA accepts submissions from all over the world.
MECHTA aims to provide a forum for international academicians, researchers, and practitioners on mechanical engineering to publish the original articles. All submitted articles shall never be published elsewhere, original, and not under consideration for other publications (For checking Plagiarism, MECHTA Editorial Board will screen plagiarism by using Plagiarism Detector Program. If it is found plagiarism indication (above 20%), the editorial board will automatically reject the manuscript immediately). All accepted articles will be published and will be freely available to all readers with worldwide visibility and coverage.
The scope of MECHTA is specific topics issues in mechanical engineering such as design, energy conversion, industrial, manufacture, and metallurgy.
MECHTA has been nationally accredited by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Volume 1 No 1 2020 - Volume 5 No 2 2025) and indexed in SINTA 4.
All articles submitted to this journal can be written in the English Language.
