Advertising Policy

  1. Editorial Independence: All advertisements and commercially sponsored content are entirely independent of editorial decisions. The editorial board of the "International Journal of Mechanical Engineering Technologies and Applications (MECHTA)" does not endorse any product, service, or company featured in advertisements or sponsorships. Editorial content is not influenced by commercial interests or advertising agreements.
  2. Content Appropriateness: MECHTA reserves the right to decline advertisements that are inappropriate or potentially damaging to the journal's brand and reputation. Advertisements promoting products or services known to harm health, such as tobacco and alcohol products, will not be accepted.
  3. Accuracy and Transparency: Advertisements must not be deceptive or misleading and should be verifiable. Advertisements must clearly identify the advertiser and the product or service being offered. Content that is indecent, offensive, or discriminatory based on race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or any other personal characteristic will not be accepted.
  4. Removal of Advertisements: MECHTA retains the right to remove any advertisement from the journal’s website or publications upon request by the Editor(s)-in-Chief or Publisher.
  5. Separation of Editorial and Advertising Content: Advertisements and editorial content must be clearly distinguishable. MECHTA does not publish “advertorial” content, and any sponsored supplements must be explicitly labelled as such. If a supplement did not undergo the standard peer review process, this will be clearly stated.
  6. Prohibited Targeting Practices: Advertisers are prohibited from targeting advertisements to specific articles or pages that mention the advertised product or service. Advertisers may not use keywords or other targeting methods to influence the placement of their advertisements in proximity to specific editorial content.
  7. Search Results Independence: Advertisers and sponsors have no influence over search results generated on the journal’s website. Search results are determined solely by the search software’s functionality and user-defined criteria.
  8. Approval Process: All advertisements are subject to approval by the publisher or editor. While approvals will not be unreasonably withheld, MECHTA reserves the right to reject any advertisement that does not adhere to this policy.
  9. Third-Party Advertising: MECHTA partners with third-party advertising companies to serve advertisements and may collect non-personally identifiable information through cookies or web beacons. This information is used solely to deliver advertisements likely to interest users and is not shared with advertisers.
  10. Liability and Indemnification: Advertisers and their agencies agree to indemnify and hold harmless MECHTA, its officers, and employees against any claims or legal actions arising
